During my first two years of animation school we had three workshops of motion design and each was one week long. We had to create trailers for different movies and experiment with AfterEffects as we were learning the software for the first time.
For the first trailer, I picked "Wednesday" from the Netflix series (2022). This one was made during my first year of Bachelor.
For the second trailer we had to chose a classic monster to work from, I picked the movie "Frankenstein" (1981). I recreated key scenes from the movie, I learned how to play with textures, and tried to make it look like an old trailer with motion gap between the frames.
Finally, the thrid trailer was realised during my second year and we had to pick a sci-fi movie this time. I wanted to go with "Dune" (2021) part one, and I had a lot of fun playing with the sand worm and the ornitopters and trying to use every method I learned until then.
